How to use this website...

Welcome to a very easy way (not) to go food shopping!
Quick Guide
1) Register your details (new customer only)
Enter your e mail address and password (existing customers)
2) Click "Start Shopping" on right side of page under "Your Basket"
To find out more about the product, where it comes from etc, click on the product code which is coloured green
3) Work through each page adding items required. Click "Add all quantities above to basket" at the bottom of each page.
4) Click "View Basket"
5) Click "Go to checkout"
6) Click "Confirm order" (VERY IMPORTANT!)
7) Relax (when you have received our confirmation e-mail)
Order before 8am on Tuesday, and receive your order on Thursday (Friday for the Cheddar Valley, Trowbridge, From, Weston S Mare and Keynsham, Chew magna, Saltford and Exmoor routes.).
Our delivery area is formed by the area within a line drawn between Yeovil, Chard, Taunton, Lynton,Weston S Mare on Sea, south Bristol, Bath, Keynsham, Trowbridge, Warminster, Frome, Wincanton. Phone to check if you are in any doubt.
The Long Winded Version
The first time you order online you will need to register your details with us.(None of your details will be shared with anyone outside Somerset Local Food Direct and it will only be used by ourselves to achieve an efficient delivery of your order.) From then on just log-in and start shopping. We are confident you will find this site quick and easy to use
Ordering from our online catalogue is easy. Simply add the products you require to your shopping basket, and confirm your order.
We have included prices, but please be aware that items needing to be weighed will vary in price which will affect the final total of your bill. Hence, we donīt ask for payment at this point. Just place your order online and pay by cash or cheque (with guarantee card) on delivery.
When placing orders, there is a note box on the far right side of the "view basket" page along side each product which can be used for adding a note or comment about the product. It is the best place to put the preferred weight of a piece of meat or fish, because it will appear on the producers order, and thus stands a good chance of being acted upon. There is also a notes box at the end of the order, on the checkout page, where general comments can be added, about delivery etc. The feedback page does not relate to any particular order, and is for general comments, praise, complaints and questions.

Please place your order at anytime during the week or over the weekend. Our cut off time is 7pm on Monday for telephone orders, but online orders are accepted up till 9am on Tuesday. Delivery is on Thursday for some areas and Friday for others

Refund and Return Policy
If any product is missing or in a condition that you do not find acceptable, we will issue a credit to the value of the product. Complaints must be registered within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
