Romantic meal for Two

There is so little work involved in preparing this meal that you will have the maximum amount of time together! Just over£10 each including delivery.
The trout terrine can be served with a little salad or on warm toast.
There are 2 beef lasagnes and they will need defrosting earlier in the day, but then just require thorough heating.
Finish with the cheesecake and then, with the coffee, share a chocolate Love Lolly. It is quite fun to eat one together and finish with a sweet kiss!

Chocolates for February 14th.

Made by Louise Sturmey in Cheddar, a compilation of milk, white and dark chocolates with something to suit everyone.
Flavours that may be included:-
Venezuala Cocoa, Dark Cherry, Ginger & Fennel, Jasmine Flower, Fresh Lime, Alta Rica Coffee, Raspberry, Real Vanilla, Salted Caramel.
And there is a FREE love lolly from James Chocolates, with every box.

Winter Stew Pack

This week the weather is forcast to be a bit colder, so a hot stew would be a good idea for one of this weeks meals.
Butcher,Ashly Maunder, from near Somerton, has put together 3kg of various meats (beef, chicken and pork) for just such a dish. Make up more than you need and put the spare in the freezer. We are contributing a FREE bag of vegetables, so that you have the basics in one single purchase.

A litre of cider comes with FREE cheese this week.

A glass jar of sweet, medium or dry, farmhouse or vintage, will be delivered with a free wedge of cheese. And not just any old cheese. We have chosen a wedge of Barbers 1833 mature cheddar cheese and we are sure you will not be dissapointed if you have not tried it before. But we have limited supplies of this offer though.

You May Have Thought...

that we are more expensive that supermarkets. But this is not necessarily true even though they spend a great deal on special offers and advertising to give the impression that they are cheaper than their rivals.

And when you remember that there is no minimum order and you do not need to be at home for delivery, we are a very good food shopping option.

Whatever you choose, you can be sure we are doing our best to find good Somerset produce at a reasonable price.
