A tasty selection

Frome Farmers Market is now just on the 2nd Saturday of the month!

Please note that Frome will now be offering one bumper market each month in the Cheese & Grain Building on the 2nd Saturday .

The 4th Saturday is now a craft market.

A Brand New Farmers Market for Yeovil

Somerset Farmers Markets are planning a new large farmers market to take place on the 4th Saturday of each month in the pedestrianised centre of town.
It will launch on April 24th watch the website and local press for details.


Some of our producers have special offers look in the press for coupons to spend on the markets!


Wincanton 9am -12 noon is the new time for 2010

Wincanton is a busy little farmers market with much early bird shopping taking place from 9am however traditionally its been our market which by 12 noon is populated mainly by stallholders!

To reflect this 'Wincanton Phenomena' and to allow our producers to get back to their farms and bakeries we are running the market until 12 instead of 1pm.
This will be linked in with a local promotion of the market to keep every one informed.


The Taste of Somerset Awards- catch the deadline!


The wonderful Fosse Way and Blackmore Vale magazine each year sponsor the ‘Taste of Somerset Awards’.
This involves asking you the customers to identify your favourite producers , farmers markets and other local food outlets even the best food town!

What makes it a success is the enthusiasm and rivalry generated by customers ,producers and market managers alike!
So the gloves are off and the deadline is March 17th so be quick …pick up your free magazine and get voting!

Would you like to get involved in your local market?

We need a couple of volunteers at each of our markets to help sell our jute bags, run our information stands ,administer e-mail prompts to customers,give out leaflets,put up posters play music etc
If you´d like to support your local market in this way it can be a very sociable way of spending a few hours a month. Volunteers will recieve complimentary vouchers to be used at the market!
